We are delighted to be supporting a brand-new client who are a prestigious healthcare company based in West London with their requirement for a Switchboard Operator.
As a Switchboard Operator, it is your main responsibility to be the voice of the business and ensure you direct calls appropriately to ensure callers reach the relevant team in the shortest timeframe.
You will answer, transfer and forward calls via the switchboard in an efficient and courteous manner whilst ensuring you are providing the highest possible standard of customer service as well as maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
In the event of being unable to forward the call on, you will ensure you take accurate messages and act on these in a timely manner so the customer receives a response as quickly as possible.
The ideal candidate for the Switchboard Operator role will have previous experience of managing a switchboard function. Someone who has come from a healthcare background would be preferable as well as being a friendly, professional and well-spoken individual.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday with shifts of either 8-4pm or 10-6pm. Basic salary between £22,000 - £23,000.
